I've adored Kimberly and Michael since the moment I met them several years ago when we were having a consult regarding their wedding day coverage and since then I have been there for their engagement photos, boudoir photos, wedding day, and so it was only natural that I was overly excited for the chance to be a part of the most intense day of their lives: the birth of their son, Parker Angelo. The kicker to this story is that they waited until the birth to find out the sex of the baby, so it was doubly exciting!
Kimberly was admitted into the hospital around 8 PM on Saturday night and then spent 31 grueling hours in labor, anxiously awaiting the moment that she could deliver the baby, and we were there with them, every step of the way! From the excited phone calls to following along via text, to trading off coverage in the labor and delivery room, we truly felt like we were a part of it all. Needless to say our hearts were broken when Kimberly had no choice but to deliver Parker via C-section, and thus kicking us out of the chance to capture the actual birth, but thanks to a wonderful nurse who took a handful of photos, we were able to incorporate those along with our before and after photos. It was a pleasure meeting the thick haired and super cute Parker Angelo! Welcome to the world, little man! Everyone has been waiting for you.
