When I first met Alex and Lina over a year and a half ago, they were instant favorites of mine! They were both so excited to be marrying each other, and their joy over the party of the reception was infectious!
During their gorgeous ceremony at the church, it was clear that the moment Lina walked down the aisle was stunning to both of them. They hadn’t seen each other since the day before their wedding, and when she started to walk down the aisle, he outright cried as he simply lost his breath at the sight of her. Both Alex & Lina mention that as their favorite part of the day:
"My favorite part of the day was seeing my husband's face while I was walking down the aisle. I hadn't seen him since the day before and I didn't know how many emotions I would feel that day. The moment I stepped in the church and saw Alex, I knew everything was ok. Seeing him cry of emotions made my heart melt. I will remember that for the rest of my life."
"Watching Lina come around the corner and seeing her for the first time in her dress is a memory I will never forget-incredibly beautiful and breathtaking! I remember being nervous and so many thoughts in my head until I saw her; all I could then think was "Wow, she is gorgeous"."
After the touching ceremony, complete with a unity candle, we headed for the Winter Park Civic Center for a PARTY! A mariachi band arrived during dinner to serenade the bride and groom. Then, they had a “hora de loca,” complete with glow tubes, sparklers, and crazy dancing for the last hour of the reception!
I love their advice for future Brides & Grooms:
"Give yourself time to relax before the wedding day. Enjoy the days before as you have family and friends around you to laugh and share so the day of you aren't stressed out because you will have many emotions that day and if you can avoid adding anymore then that would help!
Keep each other grounded throughout the final days and have strong communication to give each other support. During the wedding take a moment with your new bride/groom to just sit back and look out to everyone and take the scene in - it all passes so fast. Lastly, have fun and enjoy being a newlywed!"
Alex & Lina, thank you for allowing us to be part of this amazing day! We wish you nothing but the best in your exciting new lives together!
