Mandy and Jimmy were married on August 20th at the Abacoa Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida.
These two met when Mandy’s cousin and her husband set them up on a blind double date. Jimmy was friends with Mandy’s cousin’s husband when the two of them were growing up, and after the double date to the fair, they simply fell in love!
I was especially excited about this wedding because Mandy and I have known each other for 13 years, since we were freshmen in college together—so I was absolutely honored to capture her marrying the man of her dreams! I was even more excited after the engagement session with these two, and when the wedding rolled around, I couldn’t help but be swept up in the love they share!
When my second shooter, Tara Sproc, and I got there on the day of the wedding, we had so much to work with. These two have such a special connection, which I think showed through especially when they opted for a “first touch” instead of a first look.
I was also touched by the way Mandy incorporated her mother into the wedding. Her mom recently passed away, but she was there in spirit as Mandy had a heart sewn into her dress from her mom’s shirt and her picture on the bouquet.
At the end of the night, we stepped out for some sparkler photos and some amazing images in their getaway car. I was so touched to see how much they loved each other in that moment—and how excited they were for their future together!
Jimmy & Mandy, thank you so much for allowing me to be part of this exciting time for you both! You two are just so wonderful together!
I love this one of Mandy and me!
