Elegant, rich jewel tones of navy and garnet sprinkled with hints of soft whites and greenery made for a high class gathering on Renata and JP's wedding day at the Harriet Himmel Theatre in West Palm Beach. When I entered into Renata's gorgeous prepping suite, I was greeted with dreamy window light, impeccable details, and an overall excitement bubbling over how the day was going to unfold. I was in for a special treat, as it turned out, when I discovered that Renata's incredible gown also had a removable belt-train. Yea, you read that right. WHAT?! It was absolutely glorious!
The Groom and his men also had a cozy suite, complete with pizza and a baby. These guys clearly knew how to have a good time, and look straight up dapper while doing it.
The couple chose to have a first look, at a location that JP himself found! The minute Renata let me know that he had found these incredible gardens just minutes from the Theatre, I fell in love with all of the unique gardens throughout the property. The love spoke for itself when they first saw each other, and after wiping a few tears away, we captured ALL of their portraits (further down in the blog post) before their ceremony, and then had the formal party join us for some fun! The ceremony at the Theatre was grand and intimate all at the same time, providing the perfect (A/C'd!) location for the two to share their vows, and a bubble exit with only immediate family and the formal party made for a special touch.
Remember those portraits I mentioned earlier? Get ready for them, because they are sizzling hot. JP made a super dapper groom, and with the classy Renata on his arm, these photos were screaming to be taken. Not only did their love swirl around us all afternoon, but later on in the day during the reception, this couple ACTUALLY DID THE DIRTY DANCING DANCE as their first dance! The whole thing! Not just the lift (BUT YESSS THE LIFT!), the whole thing! I'm pretty sure my heart just dropped right there on the dance floor.
Thank you so much to Renata and JP for entrusting us to capture your amazing wedding day, and a HUGE amount of love to all the vendors that put in such hard work to make their wedding so perfect!
