When Jess and I first chatted over the phone and she told me about the backyard Hatfield Pennsylvania wedding that she was planning on her father’s property, I had no idea that I was going to fall in love with every nook and cranny of that home! These two birds have been swooning over each other for quite some time – 10 years in fact! Life and children got in the way before but on this wonderful summer day in July, not even a crazy storm could get in the way of these two finally saying “I DO!” in front of family and friends.
Wildflowers were everywhere you turned – in the bouquets, on the tables, in planters, on the ground – the pops of color pumped joy into the atmosphere with their vibrant tones of pinks, oranges, and reds. Jess actually DIY’d her wedding dress from her grandmother’s, which made me love that lace even just a little bit more! They wed on the front side of the property and then celebrated the night away with friends with games and drinks in the backyard.
We felt so welcomed by everyone at this Hatfield Pennsylvania wedding, which just made me miss my home state of Pennsylvania even more than normal. Thank you to Jess and Dennis for allowing us to capture your amazing day!
