Winter Park Farmers Market Wedding in Winter Park, Florida | Kelsi and Michael

One thing was certain about Kelsi and Mike at their Winter Park Farmers Market Wedding – these two are not just in love with each other, they are absolutely best friends. After a little push from the internet, they found in each other the perfect hiking, brunch, and brewery partner in crime, and on January 28th, they said “I DO!” to forever in front of their family and friends in the heart of Winter Park, Florida. They brought a theme of rustic chic winter to life by creating their own centerpieces and brewed their own beer for their wedding day, and Kelsi’s dad went above and beyond by making the Unity Cross, seating chart, and wood for the centerpieces. The bride got ready at the stunning Alfond Inn, while Mike prepped at the church. The two snuck away before the ceremony to exchange cards and share a first touch, and it was the most tender moment I have had a chance to capture. Just look at Mike’s face as she walked away!

The moment the doors open at the church, you could almost feel the air stand still as everyone turned to look at Kelsi, who looked simply majestic. Mike’s face immediately crumpled with joy, and we may have snapped what looks like a bridesmaid (hey there, sister!) losing a bet! After a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony, we took a walk with the couple through the streets of Winter Park, stopping here, there, and everywhere. A storm rolled in during our portraits, and with the duo already being familiar with our rain routine after a rainy engagement session, they simply rolled with the punches and had a ton of fun with our crew in the rain!

I love having an opportunity to step away with the bride and groom on their wedding day, far away from their guests, and really give them an chance to let the fact that they just got married sink in (in front of the camera). These two, especially, have a connection that sets a new level for relationship goals. When the rain started, they simply picked up the umbrellas, and kept loving each other. Kelsi and Mike then danced their entire night away at one of our favorite venues, the Winter Park Famers Market, where the market lights are dreamy and the tunes dropped by Blast Productions had everyone on the dance floor! The perfect parting advice from the couple: “Relax, it’ll all work out. All the time you spend planning the wedding, you barely see half of it.

A HUGE thank you to Kelsi and Mike for letting us capture the beauty of your wedding day, and to all the vendors who helped make their day possible!
