Caitlin and Justin were at complete ease all day, enjoying each moment of their Orchid Garden wedding. Caitlin got ready at the Embassy Suites in Downtown Orlando, and behind the scenes, Justin had been working for months to arrange a surprise visit from their pup, Jackson, to the bride on their wedding day. I am pleased to report: mission accomplished! Caitlin and Justin are a real life example of why you should absolutely go on blind dates – you never know if your forever is only one introduction away. These lovebirds will be forever grateful to the friends that set them up, and so will we because photographing this kind of love is truly special.
The boys, in typical boy fashion, found a new spot in Downtown Orlando that featured axe-throwing. Nothing like throwing a handful of axe’s an hour before getting married!
Caitlin and Justin said “I DO!” in a gorgeous Catholic ceremony at Saint James Catholic Cathedral, the celebration continued at the Orchid Garden in the heart of Downtown Orlando. We had a chance to take formal party portraits in both locations, and we couldn’t resist having a little fun with the veil! The pastel blue Stella York bridesmaid gowns were a romantic touch to the wedding day.
A beautiful gap in the timeline allotted plenty of time for us to capture the bride and groom portraits at both venues, and even step into Cheyenne Saloon to take advantage of the old Orlando scenery. Caitlin was absolutely breathtaking in her Azazie gown, and Justin was incredibly polished in his tux from Jos. A Bank. I always love capturing receptions at an Orchid Garden wedding – the tall pillars and intricate architectural details create a sense of utmost elegance during the celebrations. Gold votives, candelabras, and long garlands embellished the long rows of dining tables. Guests danced the night away to live music by Who Rescued Who until it was time for the sparkler exit.
A HUGE thank you to all the vendors that helped make Caitlin and Justin’s Orchid Garden wedding day so magical!
