Daffnee and Mike are two people who rekindle your faith in love and relationships, because the two fit together like peanut butter and jelly (or honey or bananas, depending your personal taste) and the way they hold eye contact is what photographer dreams are made of. They chose October Oaks Farm as their venue, and Daffnee brought her elegant and chic touches to the rustic barn, creating an elegant romance among candlelight. It was a sunny, gorgeous day when I arrived on property - the girls were getting ready in the bridal house, and I am pretty sure I squealed when I saw Daffnee's fitted lace racer-back, deep V with lace cut outs gown. Mike had a little gift dropped off to his bride to be, and we all got ALL THE FEELS when she opened one of the most thoughtful (yet simple) gifts, ever. #groomgoals
The property has beautiful fields of grass, and nooks of hidden magic, in which they decided to say "I DO" to forever, in front of all of their family and friends. A tiny cove nestled between the trees, the pair stood under a massive tree canopy that was so lush, if it wasn't for the palm trees, guests would think they weren't in Florida.
Both Daffnee and Mike surrounded themselves with simply beautiful people (inside and out) to stand beside them on their wedding day - it also happened to be the case that they were incredibly fun.
October Oaks has one of the best treelines in central Florida - and with a killer sunset to boot, we had a golden hour that made our hearts pitter patter. Add in one gorgeous couple who are madly in love with each other, and the venue suddenly becomes one of the dreamiest ones we've ever had the pleasure of shooting at.
The barn was filled with long tables with candles as far as the eye could see underneath chandeliers and a beautiful wooden roof. The couple surprised all of their guests by having the barn doors slide open on the side, revealing them having their first dance under the market lights underneath the starry night sky. The party then raged on outdoors, including a chair lift for the bride and one of the longest sparkler exits we've ever seen! Delicious catering was provided in house from October Oaks.
