I have been friends with the gorgeous MacKenzie for several years - in fact, she has become one of my closest friends and favorite people to travel with. We have shared adventures, laughs, and tears together. The moment she met Brian, well, re-met Brian, I knew he was the one for her. The way her eyes lit up when she talked about him, the way her lips would curl into a soft smile, and the pure joy that was visible in her every move let our little group know that Kenzie had found her match. I met Brian a handful of times during the course of their dating, and got to know him really well when she asked me to take their engagement photos at Bok Tower Gardens in Clermont. I have to say, I realized right away that he was a stand up guy who was madly in love with my very good friend. As Kenzie began planning her wedding, I became more and more excited about taking her wedding photos - especially since she chose such a beautiful venue like Bella Collina Mansion in North Carolina. I'm thrilled to share the photos from her beautiful day!
Sierra and I headed over to the mansion on Kenzie and Brian's wedding day and found each of them calmly and excitedly preparing for their big day. Kenzie and her girls were up at the top of the mansion while Brian and his guys had their own little section of the house.
We had driven up to the mansion the day before to check out the property and I had found a beautiful section of woods on the way in that had rows and rows of pine trees - a dream come true for this Florida photographer! I raced to Kenzie and begged her to do her first look with Brian in those trees. She looked at me and said "I trust you. If you think that's the place, then that's it!" Thank goodness she agreed to it, because these just might be my favorite first look photos, ever!
Of course a woods wedding is definitely my dream come true, so we continued on with taking breathtaking photos all along the property entrance until we went back to meet the formal party, who were geared up and ready to go for their photos.
After all that fun with the crew it was time to get on with the gorgeous ceremony by the lake.
There was no way that we were going to let a gorgeous sunset pass us by without taking a few photos in front of that, as well!
Once we were done taking their photos, it was time for the PARTY! But not before a spectacular first dance and a groomsmen dropping his bridesmaid during the announcements.
Thank you to Kenzie and Brian for having SO Photography capture your special day! We hope you enjoy reliving your wedding through photos for the rest of your lives and wish you a lifetime of wedded bliss!
