Bella Collina Montverde Wedding | Stephanie and Travis

Bella Collina Montverde Wedding | Stephanie and Travis

Earlier last year, Stephanie reached out to me about her upcoming wedding to the man of her dreams (that’s you, Travis) on a day that she knew in her heart would be magical. I knew from the way they shared their love story, that it would be even more; it was soulful, authentic, and radiant. Travis and Stephanie both grew up in Windermere and attended all of the same schools growing up and while they had several of the same friends, they somehow never met. Despite living the same cities, having the same friends, and even attending the same Universities, their paths continually missed each other. After meeting on a study abroad program in Greece (I know, right? DREAM), they lost touch after returning to the states only to reunite 5 years later when they both moved to North Carolina to follow career paths, and ended up within 45 minutes of each other. Rekindling a lost friendship turned to romance, and three years later the two finally gave into fate and wed at stunning Bella Collina.

After their original session had to be rescheduled due to the impact from Hurricane Irma, I was determined to show them all the beauty the park had to offer and man, did the Universe deliver! The sun glowed with a fiery warmth and after overcast clouds took over, we were rewarded for waiting out the sunset with a Sailor’s delight (and to ours as well!).

Every couple that I work with holds a special place in my heart, and every now and again there are two people who are so destined to be together, it takes my breath away. Katie and Nathan are one of those couples. I bonded deeply with the two of them, drawn to their kind nature and beautiful love for each other and all things literary – which combined with flowers, lots and lots of color, was their theme for their day. After months of excitement and planning, the day finally came and I couldn’t have been more excited to see their vision come to life!
