Maitland Art Center Wedding in Orlando, Florida | Amanda and Sean

Maitland Art Center Wedding in Orlando, Florida | Amanda and Sean

I am fortunate to build a pretty solid relationship with the couples that I work with, and frequently, I find myself with new lifelong friends. Amanda and Sean are so incredibly fun individually, it’s basically a guaranteed belly-laughing kind of hang when they’re together. The first time I took photos of the ring at their engagement session, I stuck it on top of a fried donut and we spent the evening drinking beer, having fun, and overloading on food truck deliciousness. I knew their wedding day was going to be fun, and I was not disappointed.

Castillo de San Marcos Wedding in St Augustine, Florida | Amanda and Patrick

I first had the opportunity to meet this beautiful duo when Patrick was the Best Man at another SO Wedding, and when I had a chance to get to know both he and his now wife (!), Amanda, I could see that they were even more in love with each other now than they had been even then. The way each of them can’t help but smile when they have eyes on the other, the closeness in which they embrace, and the warm welcome they have for each person they interact with is a rare and beautiful thing – and amazing to photograph. On their wedding day, I found them both with easy, relaxed smiles, ready to marry their best friend. We snuck away for an intimate first look off of the famous Magnolia Ave, and used a yellow umbrella as our revealer, touching on their love of the well known comedy, How I Met Your Mother.

A Tropical Paradise Cove Wedding in Orlando

A Tropical Paradise Cove Wedding in Orlando waterfront ceremony at paradise cove wedding

Cara and Colin met while working together in College, and have spent every day since that fateful day that Cara finally said “yes” to Colin’s asking her on a date, enjoying life as best friends and now, husband and wife. If you have yet to see the hidden tropical oasis that is Paradise Cove, the lakefront venue with a private beach, dock, tiki hut, lounge chairs, and twinkle lights are sure to sweep you away to feeling as though you transported to the Florida Keys. Cara got ready inside the luxurious bridal house (it’s two stories!) on property while the gentleman got ready at a hotel off property. They chose to keep things traditional, and see each other for the first time down the aisle right before they promised forever to one another.
