This Isleworth Country Club wedding was stunning in quite literally every direction. From the pristinely manicured lawns and blooming flowers to the ivy walls and true Florida vibe with pink hues and palm trees, each corner of the property simply added to the sleek, fashion-inspired affair Leah and Brian had planned for their wedding day. Intimate down to the details, they each got ready without the fuss of a formal party and we LOVED getting an opportunity to focus solely on the bride and groom!
The weather played lots of tricks on us on their wedding day at Isleworth Country Club, giving us blasts of sunshine early on in the day but then bringing in rolling clouds of darkness in the afternoon. Luckily, the pair decided to spend their time before seeing each other at the altar with each other when they chose to have a first look – which gave us the opportunity to capture all of their portraits before the storms rolled in. Leah found peace and enjoyment from the experience however, the first look proved to be stressful for Brian when things ran a little behind, taking away from the raw emotion of seeing his bride for the first time, but once things got going we were all having a good time!
The storms brought Leah and Brian’s ceremony indoors, which simply added to the intimacy of their ceremony. Leah said, “My favorite part of the day was Brian’s vows. You could hear our family and friends fighting back tears. My second most favorite part was the fact that without a wedding party, I actually felt present at our own wedding! We went to cocktail hour, we actually got to eat, and enjoy everyone’s company.”
Guests got to enjoy cocktail hour on the patio, watching the storm above the lake and mingling with the bride and groom. Channeling inspiration from Lilly Pulitzer and Kate Spade, Leah brought their sleek dinner party vision with hues of pink, gold, and navy. The love the couple had for their family showed in every detail – Leah’s mom created all of the florals and Brian’s brother the cross for the ceremony. Brian lost his Dad in 2009 so to honor his legacy, they used his parent’s wedding cake cutters and Brian’s wedding band was created from both his parents’ wedding rings. The reception was Brian’s favorite part of the day, especially “dancing with my new wife, family, and friends. Leading up to the wedding, we took dance lessons at Fred Astaire DP and we really enjoyed that time together.”
Final words of advice from the bride and groom: “Communicate with your vendors! They are your biggest resource the day of! Sara was super instrumental in helping with the weather call the day of! Don’t sweat the details.”I asked them how their experience with my team on their wedding day at Isleworth Country Club was to give upcoming SO couples a level of expectation, and they both had such kind things to say! Leah said “Sara and team were amazing! Throughout the year that we’ve known Sara, she has made us feel 100% comfortable and at ease in front of her camera. She is conscious of likes and dislikes and is very detail-oriented.” and Brian added “their commitment to good photos and making them special.”
A HUGE THANK YOU to all the vendors that helped make their day amazing!
