The White Room Wedding in Saint Augustine, Florida

Lovebirds Lauren and Joe said “I do” at this White Room wedding at the intimate destination of Florida’s oldest city, Saint Augustine Florida. A popular and well-loved destination by locals and travelers alike, the city is filled with colorful walls, intricate historical architectural details, live foliage, delicious eats and drinks, and a breeze from the bay. Lauren and her girls prepped for the day at the historical Bella Bay Inn, where the balcony of room #5 has a jaw-dropping view of the bay and historical downtown.

Joe got ready just around the corner from Bella Bay at the visually stunning Bayfront Marin House, directly across the street from the bay and the White Room. He chose to keep things simple by only having a best man, which left enough time for a quick stop for a beer before moving into the first look!

It was important for Lauren and Joe to enjoy every moment of their wedding day with the family and friends that flew in from around the country to celebrate, so we were sure to incorporate a first look into their day. The famous alley behind the White Room had all of the romantic feels and was the perfect spot to kick off portraits around the city. Can we just talk about how they are both BEAMING once they set eyes on one another?!

The stroll around the town was stress free and because we had a few hours until the ceremony, we managed to avoid all of their guests while capturing all of the local scenery – we even had a chance to stop by the marina and take in the view of the bay! The artist in me is OBSESSED with the COLORS that just pop around every single corner and the dangling live flowers that the entire town seems to have.

The lovebirds said “I do!” with giggles and love in the White Room’s all-indoor option, the Villa Blanca. The all white chapel was made soft and romantic with white and blush florals from Feather and Bloom intertwined along the chair aisles and arch.

During dinner, the ceremony space at the White Room was turned into a reception lounge and guests partied the night away with beer boots and jams from Generation Y Entertainment, sending the couple off in a sea of pretty sparklers.

A HUGE THANK YOU to all the vendors that helped make their day so incredibly special!
