Kimberlee and Kyle's joyful energy radiates from them, making it impossible not to fall in love, with their love. Their beach engagement session (that was essentially a Corona commercial) is still one of my all time favorites, and we certainly set the standard pretty high when we knocked that session out of the park. Lucky for me, Kimbo was the picture of sexy and feminine in her Casablanca gown and Kyle looked sleek and dapper next to his beautiful bride in his navy express suit and custom cufflinks, AND the venue is a dream. They said their I do's under the canopy of a beautiful tree, surrounded by family and friends.
Kimberlee and Kyle are awesome people, so it's no surprise that their formal party was awesome. When meshing a ton of personalities together, we find it best to let everyone just have a really good time - it always seems to land us the most authentic and fun snaps of their personalities. If you happen to be lucky enough to know these two, then you might know that during Kimberlee's bachelorette party, each bridesmaid busted out a massive photo of the groom's head on a stick. Yes, you read that right. And YES. THEY BROUGHT THEM TO THE WEDDING. Those bad boys kept surfacing up all throughout the photos and during the reception, and made me laugh every time I caught a glimpse. I love a couple with a good sense of humor!
The Estate itself is simply beautiful. I could have taken portraits of the couple for hours and still found new places to explore and squeal about the way the light hits that one spot just so... while wedding timeline's don't usually leave room for unlimited portrait time, we covered some serious ground and took advantage of the vast property for their portraits, allotting them a little bit of alone time and giving us a chance to celebrate with them and capture all the pretty emotions.
After the portraits were finished and cocktail hour fizzled to an end, guests entered into Kimberlee's simple and elegant DIY wedding that had a woodland feel to it (special kudos to the MOH and MOB for doing the majority of the work!). Twinkle lights set a romantic mood for this rustic barn wedding, and the sunset during the speeches was a beautiful backdrop for all to enjoy. After a raging party, the couple dipped off to their new lives together under a beautiful sparkler exit tunnel created by family and friends.
Thank you so much to Kimberlee and Kyle for allowing us to capture your amazing wedding day!
