Ginnie Springs Engagement Session

This Ginnie Springs engagement session was filled with love, laughter, and a ton of dips into Florida’s cool year-round 72 degree spring water! This adorable couple was really looking for an earthy vibe for their engagement session, so I took them to one of my favorite locations, Ginnie Springs. We explored the grounds together and cooled off from the summer heat with a dip in the actual springs. After camping at this location for years, it was amazing to finally come back for an engagement session! The winding tree lined paths gave the illusion that we were in a dreamy fantasy movie, and the music that was playing in the background thanks to some campers really set the tone for the session.

The hours at Ginnie Springs varies depending on season, but is generally open from sunset to sundown with entrance fees of $15-$20 per person. Canoes, Kayaks, and Stand Up Paddleboard rentals are available by the hour and make for excellent engagement session props! The park is heavily populated on the weekends, so it is highly recommended that you plan to head to the park early in the morning and/or during a week day to avoid the crowds and keep a more intimate feel to your photo session. If you’re considering taking a dip during your session, be sure to bring a towel and a spare change of clothes! Quick tip: jeans and thick material adds a LOT of weight in the water, be sure to wear lose fitting clothing that floats easily!

There are TONS of amazing springs all over the state of Florida and I would be happy to help you find the perfect one for your own beautiful engagement session!
