A Tropical Paradise Cove Wedding in Orlando

A tropical paradise cove wedding

This tropical Paradise Cove wedding is one that we will always remember because of how FUN it was! The bride and groom, Cara and Colin ,met while working together in college and have spent every day since that fateful day that Cara finally said “yes” to Colin’s asking her on a date, enjoying life as best friends and now, husband and wife. If you have yet to experience a Paradise Cove wedding, the lakefront venue is a little tropical oasis with a private beachfront ceremony space right in the heart of Orlando, dock, tiki hut, lounge chairs, and twinkle lights are sure to sweep you away to feeling as though you transported to the Florida Keys. Cara got ready inside the luxurious bridal house (it’s two stories!) on property while the gentleman got ready at a hotel off-property. They chose to keep things traditional, and see each other for the first time down the aisle right before they promised forever to one another.

Colin greeted his guests by arriving with his groomsmen to the waterfront ceremony on a boat – it’s always fun to see how the guests react to such a surprise! The Florida weather was absolutely beautiful as the two had a backdrop of green palm trees surrounding them.

After the beautiful sun-kissed ceremony, we immediately took off to snap the bride and groom portraits, taking advantage of that newly-wed glow that comes with the first few minutes of being married. This also allowed my assistant to gather friends and family for all of their upcoming portraits. We spread out formal party portraits throughout the day, ensuring we had lots of time to capture all of those lovey moments between Colin and Cara.

The couple had tons of cute details to add to the already incredible decor of Paradise Cove, and guests danced the night away under the twinkle lights! They exited through a maze of bubbles on a boat ride into the night – it was spectacular! Our favorite part about this Paradise Cove wedding was having the chance to hop on the boat at the end for a night shot with the venue in the background!
