A Boho Gambill Estate Wedding in North Carolina | David and Adleigh

I fell head over heels in love with The Gambill Estate last year when I was fortunate enough to capture a vintage-glam inspired wedding with one of my favorite couples of all time, so when another couple reached out to me about capturing their day at the same venue, I was amped from the get-go. As I would come to find out, this bride in particular might certainly be my spirit animal twin and the day they were planning was absolutely dreamy. Adleigh and David added boho-inspired decor (including a teepee), transforming the venue into a whimsical wonderland of folk-love.

Baldwin Park Engagement Session in Orlando, Florida | Sami and Josh

This engagement session was incredibly special to me – the bride to be is my best friend’s little sister, whom I’ve watched blossom from an 8 year old girl to a beautiful woman who is about to get married. *cue the tears* I met them at one of my favorite spots in Baldwin and finally had a chance to capture this big moment in their lives.

St Pete Murals Engagement Session | Morgan and Edward

I absolutely love urban-esq engagement sessions – it’s always a guaranteed to live and breathe in fun colors that simply make the image come to life. Morgan and Edward really wanted to showcase the city that they are getting married in, St. Petersburg, Florida, during their engagement session, with a special focus on the mural art. We charted out the “must have” murals ahead of time, and spent the evening of the session hopping between beautiful art pieces throughout the town. We were rewarded for rescheduling their original session due to some heavy rainstorms with a dazzling fiery sunset.

Old Mill Wedding in Rose Valley, Pennsylvania | Nicolette and Sean

The bride for this stunning wedding at the Old Mill in Rose Valley, PA, was once a bridesmaid in one of our favorite Keys weddings of all time, featuring some of my favorite people on earth, Nikki and Matt. Nicolette reached out to me after getting a chance to see our team in action, and chatted with me about the visually stunning wedding she was planning with her long time love, Sean. One quick goole search on the Old Mill and I was daydreaming for days. The year flew by and before I knew it, I was stepping off a plane, eager to capture all of the authentic moments of the upcoming wedding.

Ginnie Springs Engagement Session

I am fortunate in the sense that the majority of the couples that I work come from my other couples – sometimes they are friends with the couple or were bridesmaids and other times they got to see me in action as a guest. Adriana and Bobby are friends with TWO SO couples (Caitlin and Michael as well as Mariel and Eric) and just based off of that, I knew I would immediately love them (and I did from the first Skype date!). They were really looking for an earthy vibe for their engagement session, so I took them to one of my favorite locations, Ginnie Springs and we explored the grounds together and cooled off from the summer heat with a dip in the actual springs. The winding tree lined paths gave the illusion that we were in a dreamy fantasy movie, and the music that was playing in the background thanks to some campers, really set the tone for the session. The rain stayed away and the evening was filled with sweat and laughter, and left me incredibly excited for their upcoming wedding this November!

A Boho Dr. Phillips House Wedding | Makenzie and Shayne

I first met this pair on the day that Shayne dropped down on one knee and proposed to Makenzie, in front of his family (and me – I got to be the one to snap the photos!), and over the course of the last year was lucky enough to build a foundation of a friendship and even bring the bride to be onto my team! They planned a simple day, filled with joy and the blending of families and were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunny and warm wedding day. Their wedding was our first time at the beautiful Courtyard at Lake Lucerne since their recent updates, including a brand new exterior that makes the surrounding brick pop alongside the lush landscaping. This boho DIY bride added soft touches of pretty throughout the Inn and her delicate dress added a touch of whimsical, especially when paired with her flower crown.

Maitland Art Center Wedding in Orlando, Florida | Amanda and Sean

I am fortunate to build a pretty solid relationship with the couples that I work with, and frequently, I find myself with new lifelong friends. Amanda and Sean are so incredibly fun individually, it’s basically a guaranteed belly-laughing kind of hang when they’re together. The first time I took photos of the ring at their engagement session, I stuck it on top of a fried donut and we spent the evening drinking beer, having fun, and overloading on food truck deliciousness. I knew their wedding day was going to be fun, and I was not disappointed.

Castillo de San Marcos Wedding in St Augustine, Florida | Amanda and Patrick

I first had the opportunity to meet this beautiful duo when Patrick was the Best Man at another SO Wedding, and when I had a chance to get to know both he and his now wife (!), Amanda, I could see that they were even more in love with each other now than they had been even then. The way each of them can’t help but smile when they have eyes on the other, the closeness in which they embrace, and the warm welcome they have for each person they interact with is a rare and beautiful thing – and amazing to photograph. On their wedding day, I found them both with easy, relaxed smiles, ready to marry their best friend. We snuck away for an intimate first look off of the famous Magnolia Ave, and used a yellow umbrella as our revealer, touching on their love of the well known comedy, How I Met Your Mother.
